Microsoft has dramatically changed the way the world uses computers and views the internet, but they are not always the top name when it comes to technology anymore. Microsoft was the first company to make computers available to the general population, and we thank them for that, but competitors, such as Apple, quickly popped up in the market. Then, for a long time it was Mac vs. PC, but now the major players are Apple, Microsoft, and Google. Each has its own computing products, including smartphones and tablets, as well as independent search engines and the standard desktops and laptops. So who comes out on top?
Technology is a fast-paced market with a lot of competition. And, since everything is constantly changing, it’s hard to see who the top competitor is, as all of these companies have advantages in one area or another. Overall wealth isn’t a good indicator either, because different companies choose to use and report their money in different ways. Plus, the companies that have been around for longer have a larger wealth base. Only time really will tell who will come out on top.
Each time a new technology, like whether it is UFX Markets Trading software or product is released to the public, it is instantly bombarded with skepticism and an equal amount of enthusiasm. This is because nobody is willing to commit to one piece of technology until they see what the competition comes out with to compete in the market. Look at tablets for instance. While there were a lot of people who jumped on buying the iPad when it was first introduced, more people have been waiting to see what Google’s Android tablet will hold in comparison.
So, the answer to the question, “Who is the top technology competitor?” can simply be answered by Microsoft, Apple, and Google, since each company has the leading edge in the market when it comes to different aspects of technology, and since everything is constantly changing.
